Julie Shemeta has been involved with earthquake seismology since 1982 and actively involved with microseismic applications Oil and Gas and Geothermal appraisal for over 16 years. She is the President and founder of MEQ Geo, Inc., a microseismic consulting and services company based in the Denver, Colorado area. Her consulting business is involved in microseismic projects in North America (Bakken, Barnett, Piceance, Green River, Uinta, Horn River, Niobrara, Haynesville, Eagleford, etc.), South American (Argentina, Neuquén), Australia (Bowen Basin and Cooper Basin), and India (Cambay). She was chosen in 2010 to participate on a National Academies study on induced seismicity for 2011-2012. She is actively involved in workshops and meetings for the SEG, SPE and the AAPG. She has numerous publications including a 2011 Best Case History award from the American Rock Mechanics Association for the paper “Monitoring Steam Injection Deformation Using Microseismicity and Tiltmeters” with Jing Du and Shawn Maxwell.

Sue Griesbach is a seasoned veteran of the oil and gas industry, with an emphasis on information technology.  She worked for Chevron's research lab for 20 years, where she was heavily involved with developing earth modeling software for geophysical and geological applications.  She served as the software project manager for 4th Wave Imaging (time lapse seismic imaging) and as the IT manager for Paulsson Geophysical (VSP acquisition and processing) and SR2020, Inc.
